Wine bottle sleeve

Christmas is a time of giving, and I know more than a few people that love to receive wine! Usually you would just whip out the good old gift bag for that, but today I want to show you a much nicer and personalised way to gift wrap wine bottles.

I’ve seen a few tutorials of these, but I’ve adapted some measurements and changed up some of the details so that it fits my (and hopefully your!) needs. I’ve made a video with instructions and the measurements are posted below.

There are two kinds of wine bottles, and the one that I am showing in the video are the tall slim ones. But fear not, I have adapted the measurements for the curvier ones as well, so the instructions will work for both!

Slim wine bottle:

10 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches Designer Series Paper

With the 10 1/4 inch side at the top, score at: 1 5/8, 3 1/4, 4 7/8, 6 1/2, 8 1/8, 9 3/4

Rotate 90° and score at 1 3/8, rotate 180° and score again at 1 3/8

Wide wine bottle:

11 x 10 1/2 inches Designer Series Paper

With the 11 inch side at the top score at: 1 3/4, 3 1/2, 5 1/4, 7, 8 3/4, 10 1/2

Rotate 90° and score at 1 3/8, rotate 180° and score again at 1 3/8

For the bottom  use a circle that's approx. 2 5/8 in diameter.

Use the gift bag punch board to punch the top and bottom as demonstrated in the video. If you don't have the punch board, you can mark the middle on each flap and cut out a triangle by hand.

That's all you need! Decorate to your hearts content!
