Jar of Love Bundle Craft Class

May Crafternoon

For my May class I had been playing with the Jar of Love Bundle. We've made these two beautiful cards, and decorated a Mason jar full of jelly beans!

Jar of Love

A versatile stamp and die set

This bundle is just so versatile, you can use it for all sorts of projects and card themes. It was really hard to choose just two cards for this class, as there is so much inspiration out there. This bundle is ideal for making shaker cards! The dies are all included to make it a breeze to put together.

You can currently buy the stamp set and dies in a bundle and save 10% over buying them separately. But hurry, the bundle is only available until 31 May! If you want to buy both after that, you will still be able to do so, but have to purchase them individually.

Easter Class

My first class - An Easter Project

I gave my first class yesterday, which went way smoother that I thought it would. We had great fun, and the end results were all amazing! Since it's close to Easter, these are the projects we made:

Easter Class card

Succulent Easter card

This first card uses the beautiful Succulent Garden DSP, and I used a sketch from Angie over at Chic'n'Scratch, adapting it to my needs.

I love the Spring/Easter feel of this simple card, and by changing the sentiment, you can use this for just about any occasion.

Using the stitched framelits just gives it that extra touch.

Simple Easter Bunny

The next card we made is this simple Easter Bunny card. We used sponge daubers to do the sky and ground, and then just popped the bunny up with some dimensionals. So easy, but it looks great!

Mini Egg Carton

Egg Carton Treats

Last but not least is this little egg carton, that's filled with treats and decorated the Succulent Garden DSP, some ribbon and the little basket from the Basket Bunch bundle. It's easily adaptable for whoever the intended recipient. I made some for my nephews and added the little bunny on top to make it more kid friendly, and made others with the daffodils to give to my mum and sister. And the contents vary from chocolate, to candles and bath bombs!

Nailed It! bundle and Urban Underground DSP

A masculine birthday card

It's my dad's (and mom's!) birthday this month, and I decided to use the Nailed It! bundle and the Urban Underground Specialty DSP from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. It's the perfect combination for those masculine cards that sometimes can be quite hard to put together.

But these can be used for so much more - as a thank you note (for a tradesman, a good friend who was there for you), as a pun-y card to apologise (the sentiment "sorry I screwed up" is just perfect for this), as a congratulatory card for someone's achievement ("nailed it") and so much more!

I found a very similar version of my card on Pinterest and decided to recreate it. I'm really quite pleased with how it turned out. I really love the little ruler, and all the little stamps that come with it!

Masculine Birthday Card

I'm sure my dad will love it. And by the way, should you be wondering why the text is in German - I'm originally from Germany and my dad doesn't speak any English, hence I bought the German version of the stamp set so he can read it 🙂 They've all been getting English cards the last few years, so it's about time! 🙂
